Terms of Service

1. Service Description

CalendSync ("the Service") is a web application that provides two-way synchronization of events between Google Calendars within your Google account. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Account and Access

To use CalendSync, you must sign in with a valid Google account and grant the necessary calendar permissions. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs through your use of the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose of synchronizing your own calendars. You may not:

• Use the Service to interfere with or disrupt other users or systems.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the sync rules you configure and the resulting changes to your calendars. We recommend reviewing your sync configuration carefully before enabling synchronization. CalendSync modifies calendar events as directed by your rules — please ensure your settings reflect your intent.

5. Service Availability

We strive to keep CalendSync available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalendSync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of calendar events, or disruption to your calendar schedule, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Upon account deletion, all your data — including sync rules, OAuth tokens, and event sync tracking records — will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
